6th Annual
Nebraska Brain Injury Conference

Mark your calendars for the 2013 conference: April 4 and 5, 2013

The purpose of the two-day Nebraska Brain Injury Conference is to provide state-of-the-art information about brain injury treatment and therapies to inspire individuals and families who deal with brain injury everyday and to educate professionals who work with those who have brain injuries. Around 300 participants from Nebraska are expected to attend the conference March 29–30 in Kearney, Neb. Download the Conference Speakers and Schedule of Events Brochure.

Conference co-provided by Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital, Nebraska Traumatic Brain Injury Advisory Council and the Brain Injury Association of Nebraska.

Conference Registration:

Registration deadline: March 23, 2012

Early bird special rate: Postmarked or paid by February 14, 2012

Complete the registration form for each person attending, make checks payable to Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital and mail to: Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital, Education Department, 5401 South Street, Lincoln, NE 68506

Cancellations may be made up to 4 days prior to the event. Refunds will be decreased by $35 for administration fees.

For Individuals with Brain Injury and Families:

Need assistance to attend the conference? Individuals with brain injury and limited income, who cannot attend the conference without support, may request assistance. Contact the Brain Injury Association at 402-423-2463 before March 15, 2011. Scholarships are available, as funding permits, to assist with registration, hotel and mileage.

Specific sessions have been developed for those who live with brain injuries or care for someone with a brain injury. Come and meet other families and the professionals who are knowledgeable about brain injury.

Last year, a brain injury survivor said, “This is one of the few places that people understand me.”

The program features local and national speakers who will address challenges resulting from brain injury. Current trends, research and therapy techniques will be discussed.

Contact hours:

  • 9.25 contact hours awarded for both days
  • 3.5 contact hours awarded Thursday
  • 5.75 contact hours awarded Friday

Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital will issue contact hours to those attending the professional track and attending the entire day.

Lodging

Lodging is not included in conference registration or vendor or sponsor fees.
